I am mum to Imogen, married to Neil and we live in Burnhope enjoying the close community spirit.
I attended Burnhope Primary School from infants and I have fond memories growing up in the village. After college I settled into a career in the Police Service where I am now a Supervisor in Durham Police Control Room. This is a very fast paced environment and I thrive on helping people when they are in need. I have responsibility for staff training, welfare and resourcing as well as risk management and problem solving.
I am also a volunteer officer for Durham Special Constabulary reaching the rank of Chief Inspector.
As a Governor I will use my training, skills and experience to support our children, their families and the staff at Burnhope Primary School.
