A Bit About Me
I am Mrs Scott and I am the Early Years Leader at Burnhope Primary School. I share the teaching job with Miss Mcloughlin and will be teaching you from Wednesday until Friday. I have only ever worked at Burnhope Primary School and can honestly say I love it so much I would like to stay forever. I really enjoy meeting and working with the children who come to our school and there is no place I would rather be. I enjoy finding out about the things that the children like to do and to help them learn new and exciting things.
Favourite School Activities
I enjoy teaching all curriculum areas in the Early Years. I love to be outside in our forest school area. Making dens and building campfires is a passion of mine.
I believe that many opportunities for us to learn can happen unexpectedly in the outside area and I love these spontaneous learning opportunities.
I love to spend time with my family. I have a little boy called Sam and a Golden doodle called Ted. My little boy and I love animals and we are always going out and about on new adventures to look at zoo animals, sea life animals and farm animals. Our favourite places to visit are the blue reef aquarium at Tynemouth, Hall Hill Farm and The Yorkshire Wildlife Park. I was once very lucky and got to feed my favourite wild animal, which is a giraffe. I like to involve
I like all types of food in particular I love Tapas. If I was stuck on a desert island I think I would like to have this food available to me as there is a lot of choice and I would never get bored.
I am also quite partial to crisps and cheese. I don’t have a sweet tooth and prefer savoury food.
Favourite Television Programme or Film
I enjoy watching ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ when it is on.
I love to watch ‘Escape to the Chateaux’ and Kirsty and Phil’s ‘Love it or List it’.
My favourite Christmas film is The Holiday.
