A Bit about Me
Hello! I am Mrs Bryson and am the deputy headteacher and KS2 teacher at Burnhope Primary School. My class is in Classroom 4 and this year we will have 22 year 5 and 6 children.
I have been teaching at Burnhope Primary School for 3 years now and love working with the children, staff and parents to make our school amazing. We work hard and play hard. There is always something exciting happening in school.
Favourite School Activities
I lead English, maths and Science but I especially love reading new books, investigating in Science, playing tennis and basketball in PE and playing outside.
I love to spend time with my family. I have 3 children: William who is 18, Ocean who is 17 and Freya who is 9. We like to go for walks with our Springer Spaniels: Skye, who is the mum; Max, who is the uncle; Violet, who is Skye’s daughter and Oakley, who is Skye’s son.
My family keep me very busy but if I get time, I also like to go to the beach, visit art galleries, go to the cinema or theatre and go for a long run.
I am pescatarian ( I don’t eat meat, except fish) and have been since I was 16. My favourite food is Chinese especially cashew nut vegetables but vegetable lasagne comes in a close second.
I do like most foods including sushi! I also prefer chocolate to chewy sweets.
Favourite Television Programme or Film
I don’t get much time to watch television but I do like watching films with my children. My most favourite lately has been Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
I also really enjoy Night at the Museum and Jumanji: I like a good laugh. I’m looking forward to the cinemas opening again.
